Mission complete - happy clients!

They say that it takes a village to raise a child.  Creating a new home isn’t that different!

This beachfront home is testament to a collaborative approach to design and delivery.  Having worked with Bespoke Interior Design to furnish the client’s family home over a decade ago, we were engaged early in the process to develop the furniture package for their new home, working closely with the clients and designers.

A room-by-room approach was needed given the scale of this home and the brief to create distinctive hubs for the extended family to enjoy without disrupting the harmony that the owners wanted throughout.

Our designs were tailored to spaces and new designs were created to generate furnishings that compliment the sophisticated architecture.

With scale comes complexity.  Being intimately involved from early planning stage through to managing the installation, ensured that the vision for the interiors came together seamlessly and to the delight of the clients.

Jane McAulay of Bespoke Interior Design said "Working with Designers' Collection on this project has been a real collaboration.  They were simply amazing in their attention to detail, timelines, consideration for us and our client and an instinctive sense of the desired design."

The client sent this message "Thanks so much for everything you have done for us.  Your furniture is amazing and your service is even better.  We appreciate the care and attention to detail you have taken."

Mission complete - everyone's happy!

The living spaces embrace the expansive vistas of the Hauraki Gulf from this site.  Our Viktor sectional sofa was utilised in the main lounge to create a dual purpose space with an intimate inwards facing fire setting one side and an externally focused open side linking to the outdoor area and the view beyond.

The entrance hall makes a dramatic first impression with a console designed specifically for this space in walnut, glass and marble.  The large custom mirror wrapped in walnut and over-sized brass vase were made to embellish the scale of the hallway leading to the double height dining area.

The dining area is the central cog linking to the rest of the living.  It needed a worthy centrepiece to do justice to the architecture.  At nearly four metres long, the custom table was designed and engineered to compliment it's surroundings and enable the clients to indulge their passion for entertaining family and friends.  It took ten of us to install and has a commanding presence in this space.

This snug is a haven for all the family to escape the openness of the main living area to a warm moody space to watch movies, play games or just relax in the morning sun.

Each bedroom has its own distinctive feel and features tailor-made headboards, bed bases and bedside tables along with accessory pieces to enhance the ambiance.
