Lewis & Wood - unapologetically British

Lewis & Wood designs have been described as bold, gentle, sophisticated, eccentric, traditional and innovative.

To us, they offer a distinctive and unapologetically British array of designs on beautifully selected base cloths in a soft organic colour palette.

Their plain velvets and linens (in a variety of weights) are complimented by exquisite prints on linen and velvet bases.  Many of these are also printed as wallpapers at fabric width.

Here are a few of our favourites …

Rooksmoor velvet - 100% cotton pile. Weighty cotton velvet with a dense pile, high rub count and 22 vibrant colours.

Joseph velvet print - 100% cotton pile. A technicolour dreamcoat for your upholstery or soft furnishings.

Iliad linen print - 100% linen.  Inspired by antique Greek remarkable bed hanging.  Comes in 6 colour options.

Lewis & Wood’s geometrics and stripes present a structured compliment to their more fluid patterns.

Sawtooth geometric print - 58% cotton & 42% linen.  Inspired by North African decorative art.  5 colours including my favourite – “Allsorts”.

Selsley stripe - 55% wool & 45% linen blend.  Woven in Scotland in five earthy colour combinations.

If birds are your desire, Lewis & Wood have several avian based designs like Doves (on left) – Print on 100% linen and as a wide-width wallpaper in several colours.

Tribal print – One of Lewis & Wood’s most popular prints created in 3 punchy colours on linen or wallpaper.

Lewis & Wood are well known in the British design trade for their variety of plain linens in contrasting weights and appealing tones.  These include:  Birdlip Twill (pictured on right) – Chunky linen viscose blend in 14 colours.

Fresco – Robust linen & cotton blend with a matt bloom and slinky drape in 11 powdery tones.

Kemble – 100% linen that is appealing for curtaining and upholstery in 15 popular colours.
