The critical role the humble coffee table plays in a setting is sometimes overlooked. They are often the understated centrepiece that completes the cohesiveness of a setting. A well-proportioned coffee table can anchor a setting and have a significant impact on the spatial flow whether it is a sprawling corner sofa in a media room or a more intimate conversational setting.

We are constantly evolving our range of coffee table designs to provide the variety needed for so many contrasting spaces. Here are three new designs that we’ve recently added to our range.
The Titoki coffee table (named after the small Northland village where Rod spent his infancy and also happens to be the street running alongside The Foundation precinct) is a reinterpretation of our Nove round coffee table design. The Titoki applies the same materials in an oblong format. The profile of the steel base is fine but has presence. The base stretchers are offset to accommodate ottomans that can be layered both sides. The tabletop is durable planked oak which is easily substituted for other materials of your choice.
The Axis coffee table offers a lozenge-shaped form for tighter settings requiring a narrower elongated table. The heavily veined honed marble contrasts with the fine profile of the tubular steel base. A wooden or glass tabletop would equally suit this design. The base can be powdercoated to fit your scheme.
Like the Titoki design, the Salta coffee table offers an alternative to our Nove. The profile is similar but executed with a marble tabletop inlaid. The symmetrical base has an eye-catching form that has substance but with a spatial weightlessness to it. The Salta coffee table can also be grouped with ottomans or with smaller tables.
Each of these designs offers a contrasting soft form that is easily tailored to your scale, material and finish requirements. All these designs are now on display in our showroom.
