Designers' Collection has been designing, tailor-making and sourcing furniture since 1986.
Established in 1986, Designers' Collection has worked with design professionals the length and breadth of New Zealand designing and tailor-making furniture for many of this country's most discerning homes and establishments. We love working with design professionals and helping them create something exquisitely personal for their clients.
We love beautiful things and the reaction of designers and their clients on receiving furniture that has been lovingly created especially for them.
We have a very special home - Designers' Collection's showroom has been located at The Foundation, a beautiful historic precinct at the top of Parnell Road, since it was first converted into a design destination over 30 years ago.

We take great pride in enabling New Zealanders to enjoy quality furnishings that are personalised to their individual tastes and lifestyles.
Our own furniture designs are made-to-order by meticulous craftspeople here in Auckland who we have a very long-standing relationships with. This enables us to provide you with great flexibility and short lead-times without compromising quality.
We are also privileged to work with some hugely talented international designers and manufacturers to give you access to a wider range of exquisite product.

D&F
Designers' Collection work closely with D&F who represent the following textile houses exclusively in New Zealand - Decortex Firenze, Fortuny, Gaston Y Daniela, Guell Lamadrid, Jason D'Souza, Les Creations de la Maison, Lewis & Wood and Suite.
Since 2008, D&F have curated a portfolio of boutique English and European family-owned fabric editeurs renowned for their flair and quality.
The D&F fabrics and wallcoverings are on display adjacent to the Designers' Collection showroom.

VENICE M
Melissa Lunardi and Massimo Tonetto have being working with Murano glass and lights independently since the late 90s.
In 2013 they founded VeniceM, a company that creates unique, hand-made lighting and custom-made designs for clients worldwide, mixing innovation and the great tradition of Italian craftsmanship.
Meticulousness regarding basic forms, design elegance, and attention to finishes outline the contours of the distinct, self-defining language with which artistic director Massimo Tonetto expresses himself.
Their simple recurring shapes never tire, but instead become timeless.

EDIZIONI DESIGN
Alberto and Paolo Sala with Federico Ferrari created Edizioni Design in Milan out of a common passion for design and architecture.
Their objects are minimalist, with shapes strongly linked to their functions, while the technology used is deliberately "lo-fi" and employs stones and metals with different and precious finishes.
The result is something that they call "naked design" - sleek pieces that are also evocative and full of emotions.

In 2019, Designers' Collection became Exteta's first distributor in Oceania.
Exteta's revolutionary philosophy applies the luxury mindset behind Italy's most prestigious interior brands to outdoor living. With Massimo Castagna as artistic director, Exteta's handmade-in-Italy range blends exquisite design with extraordinary craftsmanship.
In their own words "Exteta is not a collection, but a sense of lifestyle that offers continuity to the attention given to the interior, creating a harmony of materials, lines and functionality in an unexplored outdoor environment."
While Exteta's designs are engineered for the outdoors, many of them are equally relevant for indoor settings.
