The restoration of iconic Government House in Wellington was a milestone project for all involved.  With 150 rooms and a floor area of around 4,200 square metres, existing and new furniture needed to be blended to pay respect to the buildings colourful history while adding freshness and impact.  Athfield Architects and the Government House Restoration project team were committed to sourcing quality New Zealand designed and made furniture for the brief.  Designers' Collection were privileged to supply numerous pieces including the Tribeca sofas below featured in Interior magazine.
