PERSONALISATION in ACTION

If you found yourself amongst the throngs voyeuring their way through the homes featured on any of New Zealand House & Garden’s recent tours around the country, you would have witnessed copious examples of Personalisation in Action.

Homes are such a personal haven, shaped by individual's unique style, preferences and way of life. Some are full to pussy's bow with artefacts and heirlooms. Others are pared back, uncluttered and gallery-esque in nature. We all have very individual likes and dislikes (fortunately - it would be a very tedious planet without it) and that gets reflected in the homes we create (and help create).
I often get asked about the meaning behind our "Extraordinary Personalised Furniture" tagline.
The crux of it I explain, is that we are "enablers". We enable our customers to offer their clients high quality furniture that is tailored to their personal requirements. It is all about providing personalised furniture that they can call their own.
Nothing excites us more than our customers getting creative and pushing the boundaries on our designs to fashion unique and highly personalised outcomes. One of the homes featured on the recent New Zealand House & Garden tour in Auckland provided a glowing example of this.
Trudy Hannan had a clear and colourful vision for her home and worked with Interior Designer Megan Poole to bring it to life.  Megan's brief to us was creative and clear and delivered for Trudy extraordinary furniture that she can truly call her own and that she loves.
The classic lines of our Parquet dining table were given a modern twist with a high gloss white finish enhancing its form and throwing to the kitchen cabinetry.
