Sectile 1729

Fortuny have worked with Venetian Heritage to create the Sectile 1729 collection inspired by the Gesuiti Church in Venice.

The Gesuiti Church is renowned for its elaborate marble, sculpted and inlaid to look like draped fabric.  Fortuny's Sectile 1729 collection draws inspiration from the "fabric" patterns.  There are six distinctive patterns in this collection.

"We are thrilled to work with Venetian Heritage towards the mutual interst of preserving Venice and our connection to Italy" say Mickey Riad.  Fortuny's take on the patterns from the church are both palatial and modern with unique twists like field of wavy lines that spring the pattern into 3D and reflect the curvature of the marble.
